from major highways:
In Pennsylvania, the new mileage-based exit numbers system allows
motorists to easily calculate distances between the interstate exits. This
enables them to better plan their trips, to anticipate how much further
they can safely drive or know when they would like to end their trip for
the day.
From the northeast: Take Interstate 81 South to Rt. 72 south, or
take Interstate 78 West to Rt. 22 to Rt. 72 South, follow standard
directions from here.
From the East: Take Interstate 78 west to Rt. 22 west to Rt. 72
South, or take PA Turnpike (76) to exit 266 (old exit 20), follow 72 South and follow
standard directions.
From the Southeast: Take PA Turnpike (76) to exit 266 (old exit 20). Follow 72
South and follow standard directions. Or take Rt. 30 West to Rt. 72
North for about 13 miles. Turn left onto Cider Press Rd. and follow
standard directions.
From the South: Take Interstate 83 North to Rt. 30 East to Rt.
72 North. Stay on 72 north for about 13 miles. Turn left onto Cider Press
Rd. and follow standard directions. Or take interstate 83 North to the
PA Turnpike (76). Go East on PA Turnpike to exit 266 (old exit 20). Take 72 South and
follow standard directions.
From the southwest: Take Interstate 81 north to the PA Turnpike
(76). Go East on PA Turnpike to exit 266 (old exit 20). Take 72 South and follow standard
directions, or take Rt. 15 North to the PA Turnpike (76). Go East on
PA Turnpike to exit 266 (old exit 20). Take 72 south and follow standard directions.
From the West: Take the PA Turnpike (76) to exit 20. Take 72
south and follow standard directions.
Notice: The PA Turnpike exit 266 (old exit 20) is mile marker 266
Standard Directions:
2 miles from the PA
Turnpike. Take Lancaster/Lebanon exit 266 (old exit 20). Turn Right onto PA Route 72
(travel 1 mile). Turn Right onto Cider Press Road (travel 1/2 mile). Turn
Right onto Pinch Road (travel 1 mile). Cross over top of the Turnpike;
Pinch Pond is on the Right.
